Handover Ceremony of the ASEAN Women Economic Summit (AWES) - Women's Business Council Philippines, Inc.

The Women’s Business Council Philippines (WomenBizPH) and the Women’s Leadership Foundation (WLF) Malaysia held the handover ceremony of the ASEAN Women Economic Summit (AWES) at the 9th Selangor International Business Summit in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia.

AWES is a high level regional event that promotes women’s economic Empowerment and Leadership within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) by fostering inclusive growth, bridging gender gaps and increasing women’s participation in Entrepreneurship, the economy and sustainable development.

Representing WomenBizPH were President Rhoda Castro-Caliwara and WomenBiz members Enunina Mangio, Elsie Chua, Sarah Deloraya-Mateo, Erika Cabrera, and Kamela Seen, marking a meaningful transition of leadership as the Philippines prepares to host ASEAN Philippines 2026.

Womenbizph will lead ASEAN to drive transformative change for women’s economic advancement in the region.
