AMCHAM and WomenBizPH Memorandum of Agreement Signing Ceremony 2026

WomenBizPH is the Philippine 🇵🇭 government’s lead private-sector partner on women’s economic empowerment.

AMCHAM and WomenBizPH signed a Memorandum of Agreement last July 30,2026 at the AMCHAM Office to share a common objective of advancing women’s economic empowerment through coordinated programs, policy advocacy, market access, digital transformation, access to finance, and regional economic integration.
AMCHAM President Ebb Hinchcliffe with WomenbizPH represented by Chairperson Rhoda Castro-Caliwara , President Rosemarie Bosch-Ong , Director Mylene Abiva ; the lead of “Women in Business Frontier” CIPE – WomenbizPH project , Auditor Sarah Deloraya Mateo , Executive Director Nikole A. Kazemi and Agemcy Lead Ruth Novales .
The objectives of this MOU are to jointly:
1. Conduct consultations, research on trade barriers, opportunities and create policy recommendations for a seamless trade
2. Strengthen WomenBizPH’s capacity to influence trade and investment reforms that lower barriers for women-owned and women-led MSMEs.
3. Promote structured and sustained collaboration between WomenBizPH and AMCHAM Philippines in advancing women’s participation in international trade and investment.
4. Facilitate systematic linkages between U.S.-affiliated companies and Philippine women entrepreneurs through knowledge sharing, market intelligence, and B2B matchmaking.
5. Support policy advocacy initiatives that promote transparency, reduce red tape, mitigate corruption risks, and foster fair competition for women-owned enterprises.

6. Elevate public awareness of the role of women entrepreneurs in trade, investment, and economic resilience, particularly as the Philippines prepares for ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026 through knowledge exchanges and trade summits
