I AM A STRATEGIST: Corporate Policy Review and Gender Mainstreaming. For businesses to champion gender equality and women empowerment, gender mainstreaming is key. It is an essential component in the creation, execution, assessment, and review of policies and processes of an organization.

In fact, the United Nations (UN) established gender mainstreaming as a global strategy in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Moderator WomenbizPH Chairperson , Monette Iturralde-Hamlin. Chapter Lead Evelyn Singson , Vice-Chair / President , Dusit Thani Philippines shared the Learnings and her 10 Personal Strategies (Testament) .
Ida Tiongson, President, Opal Investments Portfolio, said ” While a lot of organizations claim equal opportunity, we need to look closely if they have an explicit policy on promoting gender inclusiveness. We need to strategize more. “
Nora Terrado, Country Head, Legato Health Technologies said their Human Resources team had to be deliberate to recruit, retain, and develop associates of diverse gender, sexual orientation,religion, age, skill, and abilities. Gender-inclusive and responsivecorporate policies play a big part in building Legato’s highly valued culture of diversity and inclusion.
