WomenBiz PH embarked on a two-pronged project entitled, “I AM WOMAN: A Gender Responsive Guide for Business and Corporate Leaders.” In response to the UN Sustainable Development Goal #5 on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment which aims to achieve gender equality and empowerment for women and girls through gender diversity and inclusion.
The project consisted of a series of six weekly Womenar (women seminars) sessions, and an e-Book designed to aid companies in understanding women empowerment and gender equality. The Women’s Business Council Philippines, in partnership with UN Women, Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), organized a six-session Womenar Learning Series from July 15 to August 19, 2021.
Each session began with a presentation by a resource person, followed by case studies from three select WomenBizPH members who participated in a moderated panel discussion.

I AM WOMAN Womenar Learning Series compliment the Ebook by presenting voices of women in business and their personal journey, decisions made , interactions with others and challenges conquered .I AM WOMAN is user friendly and practical resource material for Corporate Executives, Entrepreneurs, HR practitioners , Office Administrators, Academe, and other stakeholders.
In partnership with WeEmpowerAsia, a UN Women programme funded by and in partnership with the European Union, Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) . APEC PPWE 2021 Chair Renee Graham (APEC New Zealand ) and Chair Sandy Montano (PCW Chairperson) gave their Message of Support . Secretary Ramon Lopez (DTI ) gave the Keynote Address during the I AM WOMAN Ebook Launch .
