SheCreates Masterclass: Empowering Women-led Businesses Through Design
Design Center of the Philippines, in partnership with WomenBizPH and DTI.Philippine Trade Training Center – Global MSME Academy, Hyper Island Asia, and Globe Business successfully held the “SheCreates Masterclass: Leveraging Design-driven Strategies for Women-led Ventures” last 18 March 2024.
The program equipped 105 women entrepreneurs and representatives from 10 provinces, with the skills to navigate the market using design-driven strategies. Participants from various sectors like food, pharmaceutical, fashion wearables, and design services engaged in hands-on workshops, learned actionable insights, and networked with industry peers. The focus? Harnessing the power of design thinking and trend forecasting to create products that resonate with consumers and drive business success.
The impact was immediate! One entrepreneur shared, “Within 10 hours after the program, my company assessed a problem we’d been facing for months. We prototyped a solution that addressed the core issue. Design thinking can truly shift perspectives!”
The SheCreates Masterclass provided valuable tools and fostered a collaborative environment, empowering women-led businesses to thrive in both the domestic and global marketplace.
