WomenbizPH partner with A Liter of Light @ Fort Santiago

WomenbizPH proudly took part in the unveiling of the Blue Lantern climate art installation at Fort Santiago last May 28, 2025, a powerful initiative by Liter of Light in partnership with the Embassy of France and Ambassador Marie Fontanel of Micronesia. The installation features over 1,000 solar-powered lanterns made from recycled materials, symbolizing hope, resilience, and the collective fight against climate change.

In full support of this meaningful cause, WomenbizPH Chairperson Rosemarie Rafael, President Rhoda Castro-Caliwara, Climate Change Chair Atty. Lorna Kapunan, Ms. Marivic Aquino, Ms. Elizabeth Timbol, Lesley Geronimo and other WomenbizPH members gathered to highlight the vital role of women in leading sustainable and community-driven solutions.

As part of its commitment to environmental stewardship, WomenbizPH also made a generous donation to support the initiative, helping bring light and awareness to vulnerable communities. This collaboration is a testament to the power of unity and action in addressing global climate challenges.

Visitors can experience the Blue Lantern installation at Fort Santiago—please check the official pages of Liter of Light or the Embassy of France for viewing schedules and availability.
