U.S. Select Summit 2022 is a gathering by invitation only from the United States Commerce department of the various US embassies and consulates around the world to the investors, experts, businesses, and government officials was held June 28-30,2022 in Washington D.C. USA. It is aimed to highlight the incredible array of investment opportunities in the US where perspectives and key connections to support our businesses and community goals are present. The successful Select USA tech program which connects early-stage and start-up technology companies to prospects for advancement in the US market is something that we as Women’s Business Council  Philippines can work on for next year’s summit where we can identify a tech company to support.

The U.S. Select globe women in tech mentorship network are bringing resources from across the US to support international female entrepreneurs in their investment journey. Women’s Business Council Philippines (WomenbizPH) is now part of this, and we can tap resources to help our MSMEs in the Philippines in the digital transformation project that we have embarked on.

WomenbizPH President Rosemarie Rafael was part of the Philippine delegation and met with  US department of commerce Deputy Undersecretary Diane Farrell as well as U.S. Select Global Women in tech Undersecretary Marisa Lago during the U.S. Select Summit in Washington D.C. , USA. Her trip included  meeting DTI Trade Commissioner Eric Elnar in Los Angeles, California.
