WomenbizPH partnership with Liter of Light – LIGHT FORWARD

The Women’s Business Council Philippines (WomenBizPH) was proud to be part of a meaningful event through a special partnership with Liter of Light, Southville International School and Colleges, and the Embassy of France to the Philippines under the Light Forward campaign.

With the active participation of Southville students, solar lamps were assembled and will soon be donated to families in Talim Island, where access to electricity remains a daily challenge.

This impactful initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of WomenBizPH, Southville, and the Embassy of France, and through the inspiring advocacy of Illac Diaz, who has championed the Liter of Light movement and spearheaded this event.

In attendance were WomenBizPH President Rhoda Castro-Caliwara, Chair of the Climate Change Committee Atty. Lorna Kapunan, and Southville President Ms. Gene Ledesma, whose presence underscored the importance of collaboration in driving positive, community-based change.

Together, we are lighting the way toward a more inclusive, empowered, and sustainable future.
